Battery operated toy submarine modeled after the USS Nautilus, the first nuclear submarine, balsa wood construction with small lead pellets added as ballast, twin electric engines powered by large rectangular batteries, submarine measures 36 inches from bow to tip of propellers x 9.5 inches from hull to topmost part of coning tower, weighs approximately 7 pounds. Includes a wooden display stand. An interesting piece of work, most likely a father-son project from the late 1950s to mid 1960s. NOTE: No in-house shipping available.
